Refunds & Cancellations
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and disputes work for Obsidyon services.
Obsidyon provides (1) pay-per-use tools (e.g., single file processing) and (2) a subscription platform. Refunds are handled fairly, while protecting against abuse. Where local consumer law grants additional rights, we comply with applicable law.
Pay‑per‑use purchases
Pay‑per‑use purchases are eligible for a refund only if the service fails to technically deliver the advertised output (for example, payment succeeded but the CSV/export cannot be generated).
- Payment completed but the output cannot be produced due to a platform error
- A verified platform outage prevented completion after payment
- Duplicate charge for the same job (verified)
- Unsupported inputs or formats that are clearly disclosed before purchase
- Requests based on preference (formatting, appearance, subjective expectations)
- Completed downloads/exports where the service delivered the advertised output
- Errors caused by user‑provided data being incomplete, corrupted, or inconsistent
Subscription (Platform)
Subscriptions provide ongoing access to platform features. You can cancel at any time. Unless required by law, subscription fees are not refundable for partial periods.
If a trial is available, you may cancel during the trial. When you cancel during the trial, access to subscription features ends immediately and you will not be charged.
If you cancel after the subscription has started billing, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. The subscription will not renew. Charges for the current period are not refunded (unless required by law).
How to request a refund
For eligible pay‑per‑use refunds, contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 24 hours) so we can investigate while logs are fresh.

- Include the job ID and/or the approximate purchase time
- Include the email used during checkout (if applicable)
- Briefly describe the issue and what you expected to receive
- If possible, include a screenshot of the error
Processing & timelines
Approved refunds are processed via Stripe. Depending on your bank, the refund may take a few business days to appear. We may request additional information to validate the request and prevent fraud.
Chargebacks & disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Chargebacks and payment disputes increase costs for everyone and may result in suspension of access.
Legal note
This policy is provided for clarity and does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If a legal requirement conflicts with this policy, the legal requirement applies.
